Thinking, Feeling, Healing

17 Jan

I was listening to public radio this morning and heard the promo for a local church.  While the spot was not particularly memorable, the tag struck a chord.  “We are a thinking, feeling, healing community.”

These are the messages that find you.

As a marketer, I thought, “This would be a terrific tag  for almost any heath care organization.”

So many hospital taglines ring hollow. Employees, physicians, patients and communities often couldn’t  quote the tag of a hospital or health care system, much less, live the brand that the tag hopes to articulate.

If we could be thinking, feeling and healing people– we would be able to better understand what it really means to reach new heights in patient satisfaction as well as give meaning to our personal contribution to health care.

Let’s all step up and ask more of our messages.
